Forgotten homecoming memories

It's kinda scary that I dont remember things after a night of drinking. Apparently at homecoming I smoked with my brother and Ro. The only reason I remember is because she told me and it kind of brought back fuzzy memories.

That never used to happen. I always used to remember everything. Maybe I drink too much? Oh well. I probably don't even want to remember half the things I did.

Except kicking ass at Baywatch pinball. I forgot about that too, even though I wasnt drinking then. It was at the Ottawa bus station, the day after The Who concert. Somehow despite the drinking that night, I had managed to preserve my memories of them rocking out to Pinball Wizard, so i was quite pleased to find an actual pinball machine, and a Baywatch one at that.

Oh yeah . . . and my brother is the man. He drives me around town, shows up to Aberdeen to hang out (not drinking) until I want to go home. Then drives myself, Michelle, Ro and that strange guy with the overalls. We get home and smoke joints with him. Then he gives me a gram to take back to Ottawa. And then he charges me for the rides and the weed. What a guy.

I'm actually kind of surprised that I haven't gotten bored of this thing yet. Special thanks to Ro (neptunicosstar), who has made some changes to the format, and hopefully will continue tweaking it as needed.

It was an eventful weekend. I went to The Who concert friday night and it was awesome! Brock almost couldn't make it. He couldn't even get out of bed in the morning. But 8 advil, 4 dayquill, a third a bottle of Cepacol and a third of a pitcher of beer later, he was good to go. What a champ. The beer we hammered back at the concert kept him going. The entire way to the concert, we were joking around about how it was going to be a $9 beer night. To our surprise (and utter delight) it was only $8 for a tallboy of Canadian or Coors Light. What a rip. Of course, that just meant that we needed more, so that we'd forget about the ridiculous price and be able to get drunk and enjoy the show.

And enjoy the show we did. Even though those guys are ancient, they sure know how to rock. We had floor seats, 34 rows back and I don't think I sat once during the show. It was easily the best ever. Yes . . . even better then Our Lady Peace in Toronto and The Rogers Sisters and Metric in Berlin (until now my favourite concerts). Highlights of the show were Teenage Wasteland (now my favourite song), Behind Blue Eyes and My Generation. Even their encore was mind-blowingly awesome. They started it off rocking Pinball Wizard with a huge guitar solo thrown in.

After 4 hours of sleep and 6 hours of work the next day I headed back to Kingston for Queen's Homecoming. It was pretty fun despite the lack of rioting and excess of cops more then willing to dump my beer on the ground. I think it's the first time I've gotten drunk with Ro and Michelle. As usual, I made an idiot of myself. I drank heavily and made out with some random black girl, then went and hit on her friend. Then I went and hit on a female cop. I ended the night 1 for 3 which is decent I guess. Afterward, my brother drove us back to my mom's (along with some guy wearing overalls, who was apparently invited back with us) and I passed out on a futon.

First lesson to all of you: Don't let people videotape you when drunk. You'll never live it down. It's just embarrassing.

Me Drunk (video)

We got back last night and since then, it's just been me sleeping, or laying around, doing nothing.

Oh yeah. I found the actual, "official" Studio LC (year 7) website today and I just want to say: Jeff and Carolyn . . . what the hell?

There's something I have to confess . . .

I don't know how to say this, but . . . this is my first time.

Yup. I've never "blogged" before.

So just bear with me. The first few entries are probably going to be short and look ugly (kinda like my first time doing, well . . . you know what.) But once I get the hang of it, i'm sure you'll actually start to enjoy it.

Wow. I'm also tempted to see how much longer I can keep up this kind of innuendo.

So anyways, welcome to the ongoing story of my life (starting 20 years and 105 days into it). I'll be writing it all down here, partially because the large amounts of alcohol and drugs I consume on a near-daily basis are starting to affect my short term memory, but mostly to impart my wisdom and humour on you, the reader. And just to share the crazier moments of my life.

To help us become acquainted (and to help relieve my boredom) I decided to fill out one of those annoying email quizzes people keep sending.

Here it goes:

LIVING ARRANGEMENT?
Have you ever seen the movie "Grandma's Boy".
